N Ireland, 12 July 2011 Last updated at 17:46 from BBC NewsPolice and community representatives are appealing for calm after trouble in west and north Belfast on Monday night in which 22 officers were injured. An investigation is under way into the possibility that shots were fired in west Belfast during the trouble. An ambulance and a fire engine were also attacked.Community worker Robert McClenaghan, from the Falls Residents Association, said the violence was organised by nationalist youths. More than 40 petrol bombs were thrown at police, who said crowds of about 150-200 people were involved in the violence at Broadway and about 200 in both the Oldpark and New Lodge areas of north Belfast. Crowds of nationalists threw petrol bombs and masonry at police who fired 51 plastic bullets in the Broadway and Oldpark areas. Mr McClenaghan said the violence was "nothing but thuggery".
Mumbai, India 13 July 2011 from BBC NewsIndian cities are on a state of high alert after three blasts shook the commercial hub Mumbai, killing 18 people and hurting dozens. Indian PM Manmohan Singh has appealed to the people of Mumbai (Bombay) "to remain calm and show a united face". No group has said they carried out the attack, which took place in three districts during the evening rush hour. The attacks are the deadliest in Mumbai since November 2008, when gunmen killed 165 people in a three-day raid.India's Home Minister P Chidambaram has said he believed the blasts were "a co-ordinated attack by terrorists", as the explosions occurred within minutes of one another. All three bombs were reported within a 15-minute period, starting at around 1850 local time (1320 GMT).
Boston, UK 13 July 2011 from BBC NewsFive men have been killed and a sixth has been seriously injured in an explosion at an industrial estate in Lincolnshire. Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to the Broadfield Lane Industrial Estate in Boston at about 1900 BST on Wednesday.A Lincolnshire Police spokeswoman said she believed the men died instantly in the force of the explosion. Police are investigating claims the men may have been brewing illegal alcohol. A spokesman for the force appealed for anyone with information about the men and what activity was taking place at the unit to contact officers. The sixth man was taken to Boston's Pilgrim Hospital but later transferred to the Queen's Medical Centre (QMC) in Nottingham.
There has been an increase in violent explosions recently. This is happening at a time while more fundamental changes are going on in the Middle Eastern countries. The Eurozone is facing disruption as now Italy is on the front line of the eurozone economic difficulties. And in the UK the government is dealing with the phone-hacking issue. To understand what the message is that is being conveyed by the planetary movements we need to take a look at the horoscope on the right, which is set for 13/07/2011, 19.00hrs London, UK. The time is set for the approx time of the explosions in both Mumbai and the UK. However, the major transits apply all over the world and for some time to come yet. The occurence of the incidents will depend on patterns in the natal charts and associated underlying issues that are demanding to be confronted and addressed. The major planetary aspect right now is the slow-moving Pluto-Uranus-Saturn t-square. Though Saturn is slowly separating, Uranus and Pluto are retrograde and moving ever closer: Pluto at 05-48' Capricorn and Uranus at 04-35' Aries. We connect Plutonic energy with all that is hidden and corrupt, power or abuse of power and all that goes with it. Uranus, the enlightener, is likely to bring to the surface all that is being kept hidden and in Aries it is likely to do so in a sudden, violent manner. It only needs one of the faster-moving planets to set it off, such as the approaching Moon here in Capricorn, or Mercury or Mars. At the same time Venus moved to an exact square with Saturn, which was not very helpful either as it made a grand cross configuration and signifies the loss of what is of value. L.S.
Kandahar, 14 July 2011. Last updated at 09:21 BSTA blast has hit a mosque in Kandahar during a memorial service for the assassinated half-brother of Afghan President Hamid Karzai, officials say. The explosion killed four people, including the top cleric of the provincial council. Some reports suggest it was a suicide bomb, but this has not been confirmed. Ahmad Wali Karzai, a controversial but key figure in Nato's battle against the Taliban, was gunned down at home by his bodyguard on Tuesday. "It was a suicide bombing. It was inside the mosque," a member of Kandahar's provincial council was quoted as saying by the AFP news agency."The service was about the end when it happened," the official added. No group has so far admitted carrying out the attack.
