VLADIMIR PUTIN – EL61 – LUNAR ECLIPSE 16 AUGUST, 2008 by Roy MacKinnon Vladimir Putin former employee of the KGB, head of the FSB the successor organisation, former President of Russia, now Prime Minister of Russia is the one Russian official to visit Georgia. According to Khaldea, Putin was born at 6-30 UT in St Petersburg on 7th October, 1952. This gives Scorpio 3-13 as Ascendant. In Putin’s Chart :- Uranus – Cancer 18-24 Node – Aquarius 20-00 TL66 – Aquarius 20-57 MC – Leo 21-18 Pluto – Leo 22-43 EL61 – Leo 24-21 Lunar Eclipse – 16th August, 2008 Sun-Moon – Leo/Aquarius 24-21 Chiron – Aquarius 18-16 Neptune – Aquarius 22-50 EL61 is the symbol of the unshelled egg, the egg desperately wanting to hatch into something bigger – and here is it exactly conjunct the eclipse. Also, in Putin’s chart it is conjunct his Pluto and his MC. Is Putin now living out his desperate need for power? How much further will the Russian egg seek to increase its size? And with Chiron and Neptune in the eclipse chart conjunct Putin’s Node and 1996 TL66 the question is:- How much suffering and sacrifice (Neptune) and wounding and death (Chiron) and trauma and devastation (TL66) must there be to people because of Putin’s association with them (Node) ? MIKHAIL SAAKASHVILI Mikhail Saakashvili is the president of the Republic of Georgia. This country has been involved in an escalating military confrontation with Russia. The country’s chart shows its Saturn at Leo 9 in square to its Mercury at Taurus 9 and on 1st August, 2008 there was an eclipse which activated this part of the Georgia horoscope. In the last few days Georgian soldiers have been driven back as expected to well within the country’s own boundaries but there have been Russian incursions into the country which have ended in the murdering of civilians and the destruction of whole villages. The Georgia chart is that of 26th May, 1918 and Tbilisi – noon may be used in the absence of an accurate time. This day was that of the proclamation by the national Diet at its meeting in the capital city. One would also expect Saakashvili’s chart to show involvement, and, in the event it is quite dramatic. Saakashvili was born on 21st December, 1967. If a birth time for noon is used (in the absence of detailed information) for Tbilisi then it is immediately apparent that Saakashvili has Sun at Sagittarius 29 in square to Uranus at Virgo 29. Clearly, Transiting Pluto on his Sun has forced him to have to confront the might and power of Russia who view democracy (Uranus) negatively (square from Transiting Pluto). His Mercury is at Sagittarius 24 and Pluto at Virgo 23. Transiting Uranus is retrograding, has crossed these points, will shortly station and then move directly to square Mercury and oppose Pluto from Pisces. This doesn’t look good for democracy. Interestingly, Saakashvili’s Moon is somewhere around Leo 25 in square to his Neptune at Scorpio 25 and the forthcoming lunar eclipse on 16th August, 2008 is at Aquarius 24. This doesn’t suggest a good outcome and could possibly signify his demise from office and deception to him and his people who may be victims in this affair.
