The Tunguska Event

The Tunguska Event by Liz Seddon (excerpt by Jane Fryer, Daily Mail, July 3rd 2008) At 7.17am on 30th June 1908, over the dense forests of Siberia, a towering column of light, bright as the Sun lit up the sky. Minutes later came a blinding flash, a wall of blistering heat and an explosion which flattened trees for hundreds of miles around and burned everything in its path. One eyewitness, a member of the local Evenki tribe described what he saw. 'The sky split in two and fire appeared high and wide over the forest. The split grew larger and the entire northern side was covered with fire. I became so hot I thought my shirt was on fire and wanted to take it off and throw it down. But then the sky slammed shut, a strong thump sounded and I was thrown a few yards'. The blast was 1,000 times more powerful than the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Explosions could be heard hundreds of miles away. Britain was lit for several days by a beautiful white and yellow sky, bright enough for games of midnight cricket. The event became known as: 'The Tunguska Event'. But what caused the explosion? Was it an asteroid or a comet or even a collision with a smallish black hole, or incompetent aliens trying to get in touch? A century on, scientists are still bickering about what really happened there near the Podkamennaya Tunguska river in Russia a century ago. Whatever it was, the Tunguska Event remains one of the narrowest escapes from extraterrestrial destruction. Meanwhile, the local community have dismissed all notions as a load of rubbish and marked the 100th anniversary by unveiling a statue to the Evenki god of thunder. But the UFO debate rages on. In th In the horoscope of the event chart, one is immediately struck by the stellium of planets in Cancer. All, bar Mars are opposed by Uranus in Capricorn. The energy of Uranus signifies sudden and unusual disruption and in difficult aspect (as here) brought about by others or open enemies (opposition). Uranus rules Aquarius, the sign on the Descendant where Chiron is conjunct within minutes. However, Saturn in Aries is in square to both Uranus and the stellium. Could this have been an attempt by aliens to 'invade' the Earth and been thwarted by Saturn's restrictive influence as upholder of boundaries? By the way , the SDO 1996 TL66 is at 16 degrees of Capricorn conjunct Uranus. Could this mean a massive disruption from another dimension? What do you think? dimension? What do you think?
