The 32-year-old Norwegian man arrested for gunning down children on the holiday island of Utoya has been named locally as Anders Behring Breivik.Described as 6ft tall and blond, he is reported to have arrived on the island of Utoya and opened fire after beckoning several young people over in his native Norwegian tongue.Reports suggest he was also seen loitering around the site of the bomb blast in Oslo two hours before the island incident - and also before the capital's explosion.More than 80 are believed to have been killed - most of them on Utoya Island, 50 miles north of the capital. Police have said the attacks do not appear to be linked to Islamist terrorism. But initially It was not known what his motives were - whether he had been radicalised and was part of a militant Muslim group waging Jihad or was alternatively trying to further a home-grown political cause.The Oslo bomb blast was outside a government office, while the island of Utoya is reportedly owned by the Norwegian Labour Party, as is the boat he boarded in his white van to reach it.The Norway attacks consisted of a bomb explosion that occurred in Regjeringskvartalet, the government quarter of Oslo, Norway, on Friday, 22 July 2011 outside the office of Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg and other government office buildings and a subsequent shooting incident on the island of Utøya in Tyrifjorden, Buskerud. The international community expressed its support for Norway and condemned the attacks.
Anders Behring Breivik, born 13 February 1979, is a Norwegian citizen, and the suspected perpetrator of the 2011 Norway attacks, although it is yet unknown if he acted alone. On 22 July 2011, he allegedly approached a Labour Party youth camp on Utøya island, posing as a police officer, and then opening fire on the adolescents present, reportedly killing at least 80. He has also been linked with the bomb blasts which had taken place approximately two hours earlier in Oslo. He was arrested on Utøya, and is currently in police custody. Following his apprehension, Breivik was characterized by officials as being a right-wing extremist.Breivik studied at the Oslo Commerce School, and is described by newspaper Verdens Gang as Conservative and nationalist. He is also described as a one-time freemason. He expresses his sympathies for Winston Churchill and Norwegian anti-Nazi World War II hero Max Manus on his alleged Facebook profile.According to the newspaper VG, he has no previous history with the police, apart from traffic violations. According to the same source, Breivik has a Glock pistol, a rifle and a shotgun registered to his name. Breivik moved in late June or early July to rural small town of Rena in Åmot, Hedmark county, west of Oslo, where he operated a farming sole proprietorship under the name "Breivik Geofarm". (from wikipedia).From the information available I gather that Anders Behring Breivik was born 13 February 1979. I have no further information but will interpret the chart set for Oslo at noon. So no ascendant and accurate Moon position, which limits the interpretation somewhat. But what can we tell from the chart set for his d.o.b.?
We can see a stellium of Mars, Sun and Mercury in Aquarius squaring Uranus in Scorpio. This suggests the personality of someone who is bright and animated, but his behaviour can be seen as disruptive at times. Sudden angry outbursts are likely with this aspect. It also indicates his political leanings. With Pluto trine the Aquarius stellium and Neptune sextile it, he would likely be in a position of control with ability to wield his personal power regarding his ideology. However, Uranus is on the Neptune/Pluto midpoint and indicates hyper-sensitivity and nervousness that can bring about sudden changes in his behaviour and thought processes.He also has a grand trine consisting of Saturn-Venus and Chiron, which squares Jupiter on the Sun/Venus midpoint and can manifest as arrogance and self-importance. His Mars-Uranus midpoint is at 4-47' degrees Capricorn. Transiting Uranus was at 4-30' degrees Aries and tr Pluto at 5-38' Capricorn (trine natal Chiron) at the time of thebombing, activating that midpoint and leading to sudden acts of violence that resulted in many dead and wounded.
