Michael Douglas Treated for Tumour August 2010 Hollywood actor Michael Douglas is being treated for a tumour in his throat, his publicist has said. The Wall Street star, who is married to actress Catherine Zeta Jones, will undergo eight weeks of radiation and chemotherapy. "I am very optimistic," the 65-year-old Oscar winner told People magazine. The actor's spokesman told the publication that doctors expect him to make a full recovery. Douglas stars in a Wall Street sequel, out this autumn. In June, Douglas's son from his first marriage, Cameron, was sentenced to five years in prison for dealing methamphetamine and possessing heroin. Douglas also has two children from his marriage to Zeta Jones, whom he married in 2000. The actor is the son of film legend Kirk Douglas.
Michael Douglas was born 25 Sept. 1944, 10.30am, New Brunswick, New jersey.I had a quick look at Michael's chart to see what planets were being activated when he made the news public. I did not have to look too far to see that transiting Saturn, Pluto and Jupiter are in a t-square involving his Sun and Neptune in Libra and his Moon in Capricorn. To see both the 'Lights' afflicted in this way is an indication of very difficult times ahead. The Sun represent his physical body and vitality. Jupiter opposite the Sun/ Neptune is likely to 'hide' from the reality of the situation, but the Saturn conjunction is about facing reality while Pluto is about letting go of power, demanding transformation and change, both physically and emotionally. As this is one of the more challenging aspects, life won't be easy for him for some time. The more as Saturn and Pluto will be making aspects to his Libra planets for quite a while longer yet.
The Moon is receiving the same hard aspects, which is an indicator that he is likely to meet with difficult emotional issues. Past events that have been 'tucked away' are likely to come up into the conscious mind and demand to be dealt with. Power games and manipulation all belong to the domain of Pluto and these are more likely now. Interestingly, Catherine Zeta-Jones, his wife, has the same challenging aspects to her Sun as both share the same birthday. Her chart on the left is set for 25 September 1969, 2.40pm BST, Swansea. UK.Her natal Mars at 2-40' degrees of Capricorn is also under the same planetary influence as Michael, making her feel depressed and powerless. Transiting Uranus is making another pass over her Pisces Moon in the 4th house, indicating sudden change and disruption regarding her emotions and home life.
