ISLAMABAD TERRORIST EXPLOSION In the explosion over 50 people died and more than 250 were injured when a truck driven by a suicide bomber was driven to the Mariott Hotel in Islamabad where it was crashed into a gate and the large payload of high explosives detonated. It is possible that it was aimed at certain politicians who as it happened had cancelled their visit to the hotel. The details of the data are:- Date of explosion is 20th September, 2008 and the time is given as 7-50 PM Pakistan Summer Time which has been re-introduced this year as a means of saving electricity so 6 hours ahead of UT. Islamabad is 73E10 and 33N42 and the time of the explosion was recorded by Washington Post.com . Aries 15-57 is rising. The Aries Ascendant puts the Mercury, Venus, Mars conjunction firmly into the 7th House and conveys a different flavour entirely from the Scorpio Ascendant of Frank Paulson’s speech of the previous day on the dire U.S. economic problems. The Moon which was in Taurus in the Paulson Speech chart has now moved into Gemini. One of the big indicators of violence is in the declinations. Mars is placed at 7S53 in contraparallel to that of Saturn at 7N52. While on the theme of violence the Sun/Mars midpoint is in Libra at 9-26 in square to the Midheaven at Capricorn 9-39. The Mercury/Mars midpoint at Libra 21-30 is opposed by Eris at Aries 21-28 indicating the communication of violence comes from a source that considers itself marginalised. Having established the difficult nature of the horoscope I was drawn to looking at the 7th Harmonic chart. People who are inspired are often operating in pursuit of a vision and I’m reminded of the strong 7th Harmonic chart of Adolph Hitler. For similar reasons the 7th Harmonic can be strong in the charts of politicians and murderers as they seek to put flesh and bones on their vision, their hopes and goals. Often, however, these dreams are nothing other than efforts to give substance to their ill-founded fantasies ( as with Hitler). I was amazed at the powerful Uranus in 7th H where it stands closely conjunct the Descendant and opposite the Saturn/MC midpoint. The configuration does tend to suggest that the suicide bomber considers that death (Saturn) in a public place (MC) is necessary to dramatically illustrate the power of the ideology (Uranus) underpinning his fantasy (7thH). There also is a very close Venus opposition to Jupiter in 7th H. In square to both is the midpoint of Saturn/Ascendant. It is almost as if the bomber is trying to assert that he is prepared to kill (Saturn) himself (Ascendant) in his struggles (squares and opposition) to confirm his value system (Venus) and his religion (Jupiter) which fills his being with purpose being the substance of his vision (7thH). There are many aspects some very strong. I am struck by one in particular which is the square in the 7thH by Mars in Aquarius to Chiron very closely – a Chiron sitting on Algol. I don’t know if harmonic planets in conjunction with basic chart fixed stars is valid. This example certainly suggests so. Here it would imply that there was sudden violence (Aquarian Mars) intended to be challenging (square) which would result in maiming, wounding and death (Chiron) including death by decapitation (Algol.)
