IRAN GOES NUCLEAR On 21st August, 2010 Iran conducted an opening ceremony for the Bushehr plant – the country’s first nuclear power station. The occasion was marked by the first introduction of nuclear fuel to be brought inside the station. The plant which was built in Russia was first planned some 35 years ago. It is to be fuelled by Russia who will also remove spent fuel rods. The Nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty to which Iran is a signatory gives Iran the right to enrich uranium. This it does at Natanz where it has sophisticated centrifuges capable of such work. It is this act which disturbs the USA and Europe – and most of all, Israel. It is interesting that the opening ceremony occurred when Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto were forming an almost exact T-Square in the early degrees of cardinal signs. Of equal interest is that the Transiting Moon’s Node at Capricorn 11 degrees squares Israel’s Neptune at almost Libra 11 and the Iran Republic Chart Sun at Aries 11. This suggests that the Iranian action will most likely be unpopular with other countries. It also suggests that Israel might over-react as they fantasise about non-existent Iranian threats.
