How nice it is to be able to have some cheerful news after all the doom and gloom that has been going on of late.The following excerpt from Wikipedia.On July 31, 2010, Chelsea Clinton was married, in a Christian/Jewish service, to investment banker Marc Mezvinsky. Chelsea Victoria Clinton (born February 27, 1980) is the daughter and only child of the 42nd U.S. President Bill Clinton and current U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton. The wedding occured at Astor Courts, a part of the former estate of Vincent Astor, in Rhinebeck, New York.Chelsea Clinton was born in Little Rock, Arkansas. Her name was inspired by her parents' fondness for Judy Collins's 1969 recording of the Joni Mitchell song "Chelsea Morning".
Investment banker Marc Mezvinsky (born 15 December 1977) is the son of former Iowa congressman Edward Mezvinsky and former Pennsylvania congresswoman Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinsky.The couple first met as teenagers in the 1990s at a Democratic Party political event. They continued their friendship while both were studying at Stanford. In 2005, the two began dating and on Thanksgiving Day 2009, Mezvinsky proposed to Clinton in New York City, where they reside. Family and friends found out days later via e-mail.
The charts of Chelsea (inner) and Marc (outer ring) are on the right. Not having Marc's time of birth I have used noon. This puts his Moon into Pisces where Chelsea's Sun is - a classic synastry aspect!Marrc's planets in Sagittarius make positive aspects to her Venus in Aries and Moon in Leo, where his Mars conjuncts that Moon. Marc's Jupiter at 2 degrees Cancer trines her Sun, re-inforcing her self image. All very positive. However, Marc's Saturn opposite her Sun may be experienced as a wet blanket at times, restricting her self-expression. The more so as it also conjunct her Mars/Jupiter conjunction in Virgo. This suggests that she is inclined to take certain risks in areas where he is rather fearful and more cautious. His Saturn is also quite closely conjunct her North Node, indicating that this is a partnership in which there may be a karmic connection. Her Saturn in turn squares his Sun, acting as a brake.
Saturn tends to be very active between marriage partners as it indicates commitment and responsibility as well as longevity (of the relationship). But Chelsea's Neptune conjunct Marc's Sun inclines her to see in him an ideal, taking away some of critical Saturn influence, while he may give her more direction.These are just some of the aspects between the two people that are immediately obvious. I have not looked at the individual charts to see what problems are likely to be encountered by each person within their relationships. That is much more involved i.e look at condition of Sun, Moon, Venus and Mars etc. (See our synastry heading). Incidentally, on the 31st July, the date of the wedding, the Sun was conjunct Chelsea's Moon and the Moon would have been conjunct her Venus at some time during the day, making for a very happy, emotional time.
